Uncommon Women and Others archiveTony Award and Pulitzer Prize winner Wendy Wasserstein's first play gives life to the experience of educated, intelligent women during and after the Women's Movement. Six years after graduating, five friends reunite. The women reflect on their college days and recall the events that have helped shape them. They are distinct individuals whose varying and disquieting reactions to university life gives the play a poignant historical meaning for today's young women. A funny, touching and bitingly cynical work.
