Uncle Ben archiveUncle Ben is a comedy play about a single father with a dysfunctional family, doing all he can to keep them together. With his daughter soon to be married to 'the wrong man', we head to Uncle Ben's for dinner, but all sorts of unexpected guests arrive with hilarious consequences. Uncle Ben becomes less of a host and more of a counsellor, as he tries to help young Troy to come to terms with his parents' divorce, to keep Ryan off the streets, as well as healing a broken heart. Uncle Ben has become a Birmingham favourite with a cult following, wrapping serious and current issues in comedy to connect with the community.
