Tragedia Endogonidia will touch 10 cities (11 episodes) and take 3 years. Each episode is a singular 'city' experience that draws upon the socio-geographies of each individual place the performance is staged. The cycle has to date encompassed Cesena, Avignon, Berlin, Brussels, Bergen, Paris, Rome and Strasbourg. Tragedia Endogonidia addresses some of the most troubling and intractable concerns of contemporary European life using images that are deeply sensuous, often beautifully affecting, and just as often scandalous, violent, weirdly comic and blatant.
