Tokyo Bound archiveThe play is autobiographical and Amy describes her return to Japan in search of her roots, having been brought up in the United States by a Finnish father and Japanee mother. It is a moving and sometimes funny account of the events during her extended stay in Tokyo, the people she met and formed relationships with, and her changing attitude to her mother.
