To mark the opening of the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Manchester's LGBT theatre community are presenting To Russia With Love: Stage, an evening of striking, funny and inspiring new drama to highlight homophobia and promote LGBT rights in Russia. Supported by Arts Council England and community partners. This unique performance features four specially commissioned pieces of drama.

One Abstention: in the near future, as the Russian Duma is about to pass a new law, one man faces a defining choice. Don't Tell The Kids: on a sixth form college trip to the Sochi Olympics, two young people learn about love. Champions: two young boxers and lovers who are in training to represent their country come to face another battle outside of the ring. Article 6.21: a powerful piece of verbatim theatre with accounts from international athletes and ordinary Russians.
