Threesome - Influence/Ambulance Chaser/Spent

Work:: Threesome (S0432714032)

Production:: Influence/Ambulance Chaser/Spent (T2996881)

True to its tradition of bringing audiences the best new work from the region, Cloud Nine presents a trio of bouncing brand new comedies from Northern writers, directed by Neil Armstrong. Influence by Paul Buie - A black comedy where nothing is what it seems, as a businessman turns the tables on a cat burglar discovered in his warehouse. Paul Buie took first prize in the Customs House 2005 Comedy Writing Festival with Jump You Bastard. Ambulance Chaser by Simon Moore Our US-style compensation culture sharply satirised via the loathsome (but hugely funny) solicitor Tram, and his female side-kick Bird,as an enormous scam goes enormously wrong. Spent by Sarah Millican Alzheimer's wasn't meant to be funny. Except in this bitter-sweet comedy of doomed relationships written in a seductively offbeat style.

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
