It's raining again. It rained all day yesterday. High winds. Adverse driving conditions. Part of a tree's come down in the garden. Gale force winds Dad said. On the news it said some people were missing... Some people in a boat were missing... Feared drowned. Not a good day to get married really. He keeps phoning. I told him he mustn't phone any more but he does... It's the morning of Julia and Andy's wedding day. Her bedroom has become the usual hive of activity with all the women in her life coming and going throughout the morning. Gran refuses to wear her dress, the twins want to go to Alton Towers and Gail has arrived armed with her purple eye shadow. The Wedding Room is a fast paced, witty portrayal of one dysfunctional family's most important morning of their lives.
