The Way of Kindness archiveThis mesmerizing love story fuses dance with drama to create a stunning physical theatre tale of a love gone dangerously wrong. Initially a project with Brighton and Hove Council, this piece utilises actual transcripts from victims of domestic violence and support workers to create some of the text. Barbara Ellen, in her article Punch Drunk, writes 'It just wasn't working for me and violence anymore, so I turned my back on it... The problem was that violence wasn't about to give up that easily. It continued to invade my life as if nothing had changed. Even now, when I am more at peace than I have ever been, I sometimes feel that my old love violence is stalking me.'
