The Way It Is archiveHaunted by the death of his partner, successful author, Matt, has a chance encounter with Jake, nineteen, homeless and living on the streets. Seemingly worlds apart, the pair begin to share their experiences and find they have much more in common than first thought. Plagued by loss, guilt and shadows from the past, both are seeking light at the end of their very dark tunnels. Can love shine a light in every corner of their darkness? Where might that love come from? And where could it lead?
