We have all heard of "spiritual awakenings" but have you ever seen one LIVE, in front of your very own eyes? The Void is an absurd comedy show about meditation and spiritual enlightenment. Using the humour and irony of bouffon and clowning, the piece pokes fun at 'new age' spirituality and the hypocrisy that exists within it. Starring three, ultra-conscious, badass women, this is a comedy show like no other... Throughout this guided meditation, our highly advanced "Spiritual Practitioner" will have to battle her "Ego" and face the terrifying, existential emptiness of THE VOID in order to become a truly Enlightened Being. The mind is full of surprises... this meditation is not what she expected. Watch her fail or succeed with her spiritual endeavour in this explosive, and sometimes poetic, show that includes dance, stage combat, and highly advanced breathing techniques. Enlightenment and laughter guaranteed.
