The despairing and deranged doctor is split into three figures portrayed by three different actors: his public persona, his innermost private thoughts, and his twisted disposition. As he is chased across the sea by the authorities who seek to bring him to justice, the audience are treated to a wild recount of the inept murdering doctor and his mistress.
