The Sheffield Mysteries archiveSet in the heart of the city, with a cast of 94 local people aged 11 to 85, this brand new play takes audiences on a journey from construction to regeneration, through the seven hills, the Moor Market, building sites and football clubs, exploring famous stories with a modern Sheffield twist. Inspired by the medieval mystery cycles, traditionally performed in locations including Wakefield and York, The Sheffield Mysteries takes a frank and funny look at the human spirit through stories and songs. A celebration of all things Sheffield, this summer's production promises to delight audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
