Ken and Jean have longed for a peaceful Christmas on their own for over twenty-five years. So when one-by-one their family cancel on Christmas plans they excitedly hide themselves away for a festive season alone, the Christmas Radio Times is highlighted, the peppermint creams are made and the sherry is to hand.
