The New Brain archiveA New Brain is an autobiographical piece that centres around a songwriter who is struggling to come to terms with middle age and his lack of success in his chosen profession. A lunch date with his agent takes a turn for the worst, and he finds himself in a hospital bed suffering from a serious form of brain tumour. Flitting between reality and a coma induced fantasy world, Gordon contemplates his future and whether or not he will ever write something to be remembered by, whilst his friends and family have to deal with the real world around him. A New Brain is both funny and touching with an unforgettable score and promises to make for a great night of theatre.
