The Missing Voice (Case Study B) archiveStarting in the crime section of Whitechapel library, the voice in your earphones leads you outside onto the streets of East London. As you walk, an absorbing story unfolds, part detective, part urban guide, part film noir, in which you and the voice are the only active participants. At the beginning of the play you are asked "Have you ever had the urge to disappear, to take off for somewhere and not tell anyone? Escape from your own life.." For 50 minutes Jane Cardiff enables you to do so.
