The play revolves around the personal stories of residents living in a mental retreat filmed for the television show: 'Omar Goshie Talks' hosted by presenter Omar Goshie. The brainchild of Dr Abu Overture, the Mental Retreat provides residents with a 'healing' blend of psychotherapy, nutrition and solace. Through Goshie's interviews the Retreat's residents tell us their stories reflecting shades of sadness and humour, to reveal aspects of mental health affecting people from African descent living in Western society.T0676914290Producer JC Kamau.
