The Lost Words: Told in Gold - An immersive performance that brings The Lost Words to life.

Work:: The Lost Words: Told in Gold (S0954169747)

"Once upon a time, words began to vanish from the language of children. They disappeared so quietly that at first no-one noticed. Fading away like water on stone. The words were becoming lost, no longer vivid in children's voices no longer alive in their stories " So begins Jackie Morris and Robert Macfarlane's award-winning book The Lost Words. Told in Gold uses Rob's delicious language and Jackie's stunning illustrations to bring audiences into a cosy goldfinch nest theatre to watch the book come alive with movement, language, song and projected image.
