The Long and the Short and the Tall

Work:: The Long and the Short and the Tall (S4033)

Set in 1942, a small patrol of Rookie soldiers is resting during a routine patrol. Due to a duff radio, they are unable to keep in touch with HQ and are therefore unaware of the Japanese advance. The relaxed situation the British soldiers find themselves in, creates some very funny moments. A lack of enthusiasm for even being there helps the comedy unfold during the early scenes. But you know that the serious issues lie ahead. As the drama unfolds tension and confusion replace this comedy as issues of loyalty and danger arise in this emotional play. We learn that in life, not everybody gets on with everybody else!
