What if you had woken up this morning to a distinctly different world? An all too consuming terror has run its course. Society has obliterated itself and childrearing is a risk humankind can no longer afford to take. Protected from their parents, the children of the world are now fostered by the senate. With family and futures cleanly wiped out, the hope of the species now lies solely in the hands of 'the Lifesavers.'
