This is a piece that spreads from a small village in Italy to Southern Ireland to Leister. From Retford, to Mansfield, to Limerick, to Texas, to Newcastle and back again. It's about the things you never said. It's about the questions you always wanted to ask. It's the photograph you carry round in your purse and the sound of that song that tastes like apple pies (apples from the garden back home, you know?) But it isn't a twee-party. No floral tea towels. A yarn bomb. This is about defying the odds, building a house, breaking the rules, and putting on your dancing 'shoeses'. A look at what it means to grow older in today's society. Asking what can your body do now that it won't be able to do in 50 years time and questioning and celebrating the way we share stories of our loved ones.
