The Illustrious Reign of King Louis XIX (in its entirety) archiveParis, 1830. King Charles X unwillingly signs the final document of his reign - his abdication. This makes way for his son and heir, Louis, to rule justly and restore integrity, honour and strength to the Kingdom of France... for 20 whole minutes. House of the Onion presents the untold and (mostly) true story of history's shortest reigning King. Told through wit, farce, and a splash of absurdity, come and witness Louis prove to the people of France that his reign shall be one for the history books, but perhaps not in the way he imagines. There will be merriment. There will be sex. There will be death. And there will be a totally authentic French coronation. All which shall beg the question, if you had 20 minutes to create the most illustrious reign in history, what would you do? Vive le roi!
