This play gives an insight into a brief but life deciding moment in the alcoholic's journey from that first drink to an untimely death or alcoholic insanity. The Hot Seat is a verbal confrontation between the consultant psychiatrist desperately trying to pierce the defiance of the alcoholic, with moments of humour that balance out the serious theme. Frank hopes the audience will enjoy and always remember the play and its message.
