The Hitch-hiker and Sorry Wrong Number archiveIn The Hitch-Hiker, Ronald Adams is making a trip across the Stages. Somehow he keeps seeing the same hitch-hiker over and over again. Impossible given the miles he has travelled, but is he seeing him or is it all in his mind? The Hitch-Hiker, set in the early fifties was first written for Orson Welles, and will now be performed as a radio play as originally intended. Sorry Wrong Number features a bed-ridden Mrs Stevenson who is of a nervous disposition and on her own for the night. She has the telephone at her bedside, but when the wires get crossed she finds that this is not a night to be alone. Witness the confusion and mounting hysteria of Mrs Stevenson as murder is plotted over the wires.
