The Haunting of Susan A

The Haunting of Susan A

Work:: The Haunting of Susan A (S0654288373)

Drawing on the traditions of a classic ghost story, Kings Head Theatre's artistic director Mark Ravenhill prepares to share the story of London's oldest pub theatre. But there are other stories and other memories hidden in the space. Echoes of a trauma from the past are pushing to manifest on stage. Written as a response to the 50th anniversary celebration of the King's Head Theatre, The Haunting of Susan A explores the power of the mind to make the unseen visible and for the cruelty of the past to haunt a room. Not for the easily frightened.

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
