Revolving around the concepts of change and growth, The Fiddler focuses on the degenerative effects societal ills - represented by metaphorical 'dark being' - have on the growth and development of children into adulthood as their innocence is stripped away. Lee and his friends live in London. They've grown-up hearing tales of a dark-being lurking in the shadows, playing a tune - a mesmerising tune - and goes by the name of 'The Fiddler'. As the city around them alters, the children grow apart, their attitudes and outlook evolving and adapting.
