The End of the Journey archiveR C Sherrif wrote Journey's End partly at his Mother's house in Selsey. Sherriff took a keen interest in a late 1933 amateur production of his play at the Pavilion Theatre (Selsey), a hugely successful and influential West End hit of 1929. This companiopn piece is a promenade performance set during WWI.
