The Druid's Rest archiveFirst performed in 1944 with Richard Burton, this play is Emlyn Williams at his funniest. When Lord Ffynnon decides to don a false identity as a traveling salesman in order to mingle among the common people, he adopts the name of Smith and books into The Druid's Rest. Unfortunately, there is a murderer at large by the name of Smith and Lord Ffynnon is immediately mistaken for him.
