The Contract archiveA darkly humorous and compelling play. The central character is an examination of humanity stripped bare. Imprisoned by her failing body, she is tended by a young woman who is both her confidant and punch bag. She is bound by a contract to a far-from-gentlemanly caller, obsessed with domination. The play is set in a strange nightmare world and combines gritty psychological realism with a highly imaginative dreamscape.
