The Brides of March archiveThis hectic farce brings a real touch of Eastern promise to the stage! Captain Tony Scudamore has inherited five 'exotic maidens' (chaste in more ways than one) from a middle eastern sheikh, in gratitude for Tony's having saved his life during World War Two. Naturally, their arrival in his early 60s suburban home, accompanied by their Arab minder, causes more than a mite of upheaval, particularly as far as Tony's wife is concerned. However, just as Tony and his brother Ken look like succumbing to exotic temptation, all is solved in the best traditions of farce amid well-orchestrated confusion and a great deal of laughs.
