The Black Eyed Roses archiveThe Black Eyed Roses combines storytelling and music to create a tale where passion and grief are transformed into joy. A young women travels to meet her future husband. As the families prepare for the wedding they tell each other their histories through stories of the road and songs of the heart. But the best man is jealous of his friend s beautiful bride to be and maliciously casts doubt over the young woman s purity. A virginity test is demanded and the bond of trust between the two families is broken with tragic and unexpected consequences.
