The show will be a mixture a pick from of our summer Sky Arts programme (photos available on request) which includes audience favourites from past productions as well as a whole smorgasbord of exciting ten-minute theatrical treats that have surfaced as favourites through the group's festival showcases, competitions and development events! Plays include:
Toothbrush Tales by Anika Herbert - what happens to the toothbrushes when a relationship hits the rocks,
A Fellow of Infinite Jest by Don Nigro - Shakespeare and Kemp fight it out on whether an actor should stick to the script or improvise a piece,
Borys the Rottweiller by CJ Johnson - the dog's side of it in a tragic story,
Shakespeare's Monkeys by Trevor Suthers - could an infinite number of monkeys type the complete works of Shakespeare? (as referred to in Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy)
Pride and Prejudice in Ten Minutes! - by Tim Hehir...and much, much more These are just a few of the new plays to feature in this fantastic Edinburgh Fringe show - which will run as 3 rotating selections of five plays daily at 10.30am (Tickets ?10) with free coffee, croissants and strawberries from the 5th to 29th August (not 24th) at Assembly Rooms, George (www.assemblyfestivals.com) The Edinburgh Preview will feature a showcase of the 15 plays in BRIGHTON spread over 2 evenings.
