The Ballad of a Thin Man

Work:: The Ballad of a Thin Man (S2049921614)

A darkly humorous play based on Chaucer's The Pardoner's Tale. Working from a ramshackle farm converted into a sound studio, Ian, Carrie and Jade indulge their dreams of fame and fortune: until their lives are disrupted by a charismatic stranger. McClaine is a sixties remnant with tales of the big names he's supported as a session musician - at first the friends are unimpressed but then the truth of his stories is revealed with devastating consequences.
