2015 - An international pop-star with 'more twitter followers than the population of Venezuela' is on a comeback tour after a period of self-destruction and self-doubt. Jade confronts her manager Franky who is trying to boost her flagging confidence and get her onstage to play the gig of her life. 1973 - The second story takes place when the Langham was occupied by the BBC, being used as recording studios, storage and the BBC Club. Peter and Eloise are a successful couple waiting to be interviewed for a current affairs programme about their growing international shipping empire. 1871 - With the hotel newly built and electrical lighting yet to be installed, Emperor Napoleon III (Charles) and his wife Eugenie seek refuge at the Langham whilst in exile from France.
