The Anniversary

Chekhov's one-act comedy takes place in a bank president's office, where a chatty wife and a stubborn customer keep interrupting business. It is the 15th anniversary of the bank and the bookkeeper, Khirin, must finish the Chairman's report before the shareholders arrive. But he has to cope with the Chairman's exasperating wife, and a confused old woman.
