This play tells the powerful story of Sweetpeter, a young man from Sierra Leone, recovering from the eleven-year civil war that has devastated his home. The action moves between a ravaged Freetown and a present day London, as Sweetpeter's search for liberty brings him face to face with the challenge of becoming a Young European today.
