Details
This crazy, madcap comedy supposes what might have happened if the 19th century Swedish playwright, August Strindberg, travelled to twenty-first century Hollywood with his nymphomaniac wife. In Hollywood, Strindberg meets an unscrupulous film producer, Otis De Marko, who claims to have Arnold Schwarzenegger on board for the movie version of Strindberg's play 'The Dance of Death'. But De Marko wants to change the title to 'The Dance of Life', cast his rock singer girlfriend in the lead part, and alter the plot to include burning buildings and helicopter pilots with big boobs. Old fashioned European puritanism clashes with modern day American immorality in this brutally funny satire of the American film industry and contemporary values in general.
