Sorted archiveDecember 31st 1999, and it is Rolf Bambiouski's 25th Birthday at midnight, what more could he want (apart from a meeting with his hero, Paul Daniels?). Teaming up with two girls and his 'friend' Simon Cummings, fixer for everyone he knows, they go for the party of their lives in an East End club. High on drugs and up for some serious entertainment, they're cool, sorted and ready! Disaster strikes and the boy who lives at home with his granddad dies at the stroke of the year 2000. "Why?" and "How?" are the questions that everyone asks, as media moguls jump in, families feud, Anti-Drug campaigns and memorial funds are launched. It's all hype and hoaxes as everyone cashes in. No one wins and one person is blamed. Who? Sorted is a black comedy full of rich and harsh real life experiences, situation relevant to the nation now and circumstances that the young and not-so-young can relate to. Are you or someone you know exposed in this play and when faced with opportunity in the wake of disaster does everyone react the same?
