Solo Dance archiveAs we begin to understand...Louise, a college graduate with her whole life ahead of her and a promising career in dance, meets a young man of her dreams who alters her plans. Nothing remains the same - career, family, friends, as Louise realises her life has been shattered in one moment. Nowell Wallace, the writer, allows the audience to participate in Louise's journey as we meet her friends and family, attempting to understanding her situation. Solo Dance is a powerful piece of drama that uses various types of dance and music to tell the story of Louise coming to terms with the devastating news that she is HIV positive. This play is unsuitable for young people under 16 as it contains strong language.
