Snapshots archiveLian and Catherine are sisters. Though their personalities are distinctly different, the intricate and intimate rivalry between the women goes back to their earliest days. Shifting between the startling and fantastic world of childhood, and the dark pressures of the adult world, Fiona Padfield's play explores the sisters' complex relationship as Lian and her egotistical husband James chart the rough waters of early parenthood. Passionate and intensely moving, Snapshots is a piercing insight into families, motherhood and female identity.
