Silent Night archiveDecember 1914. The first winter of the War to end all Wars. In the village of Le Bizet, the enemies are separated not by trenches and barbed wire but by a single brick wall. Belfast born Waldemar Heineger has been posted to Le Bizet to find out what he can about enemy plans, and learns more than he was expecting. Incidents from the past resurface and against the backdrop of the major military campaign more personal issues have to be resolved. As the season of the nativity approaches, he has to decide between duty and loyalty. Which comes first- his country or his family?
