A double bill of contrasting plays by two of Britain's most exciting young playwrights with the shared theme of escape. Lesley (in Shelter) and Kirsty (in Fairytaleheart) are running away from home; each in seach of somewhere new. Wit, passion and despair illuminate their journeys through cardboard cities and magical castles, hunting for the Luminous Ladybird and the next meal. With friendships tested and families changing, the two stories draw the dangerous path between the fear of failure and the promise of the future.
