Marge is a fundamentalist Christian. Her gay son, Jim, is HIV positive. The pair don't talk and each blames the other for this breakdown of communication. A small, quiet gem of a play delivered as two moving monologues, about the fractured connections and hidden parallels between mother and son, Sex is My Religion, has a novel, but effective twist and a profound empathy for both sides of a difficult relationship.
