Searching for Belinda archiveBold Mellon, a vibrant collective of queer female-identifying and non-binary artists, explodes onto the stage with ‘Searching for Belinda'. Best friends Ruby and Rose live, party and thrive together, but both have deeper troubles weighing on their friendship. Rose is struggling with her sexuality. Ruby, throwing herself into LGBTQIA+ activism, is not as secure as she seems. As Rose remembers her first female crush, Belinda, the cracks begin to spread, and previously unspoken pain between them demands resolution. In this story of genuine, vibrant, yet flawed friendship, we confront cliches and barriers surrounding bi/pansexuality. As a diverse collective, we hope every audience member feels empowered to dive into the trials and joy of self-discovery.
