Betty and Phil are cut off from the outside world. For months they've survived in their barricaded home, scavenging from outside and rationing within. Outside isn't safe. They get by - their relationship has lasted for decades but can Phil ever let go? But when their home is invaded, all that changes. Subverting the genre of survivalist fiction, this darkly comic play provides a sharp commentary on our contemporary culture of fear, and a claustrophobic character study of an abandoned elder generation.
