Reading a comic book a little boy sits on a low stool. On the floor, a little girl sleeps. A woman pours milk gives it to boy, returns to table, picks up knife, gently stab boy, wipes knife clean. The ritual is repeated. The woman is by turns a mother, a priest, an angel of death. Maybe she's Medea. It's not a violent murder it's tender. Sacred is devised piece based around the themes and images suggested by the ancient myth of Medea. Brought to you by some of Northern Ireland's most exciting new theatre talent.
