A-Z Theatre Company presents 'The Root of all Evil' - a unique evening contrasting three one-act plays by Thornton Wilder. These plays depict the contrasting lives of Americans in the mid twentieth century, and on how money can be a potentially destructive force. In the 'Wreck on the 5.25', Wilder deals with alienation in post-war America. In 'Cement Hands' a wealthy New Yorker commits the worst of all crimes........he won't tip the waiter! In 'A Ringing of Doorbells', (this play became available through the research and editing of F.J O'Neill), a desperate mother forces her daughter into a sting. This will be the British premiere of 'Cement Hands' and 'A Ringing of Doorbells'
