Roman Around archiveSee the great sites of Rome - without having to actually go there and do all that walking. Roman Around: A Guided Tour of the Eternal City combines historical fact, personal experience, and invisible site-seeing into an inventive and mildly educational hour of comedy. Ryan also dishes the real dirt on some of the more dramatic events from Rome's history. Simultaneously celebrating and skewering these historical tales, he weaves them into an irreverent and personal show chronicling his life in - and eventual flight from - Rome. Roman Around is the product of two years of tour guiding, two years of writing and editing, and 2763 years of Roman history. The show is not just a guided tour of the city (with stops at: the Roman Forum; Saint Peter's Basilica; and the Sistine Chapel), it is also a window into one man's struggle to make sense of his life in Rome.
