In Rogue's Gallery, Magritte's Menaced Assassin escapes from his own picture and causes havoc in the art world, pursued by an elite group of police from the "real" world. But what is real - and what is only an image of reality? How do you put out a fire in Van Gogh's world when Vincent never painted fire extinguishers? How do you converse in Dali's world when all that comes out of your mouth is fish? And how do you do anything but fall in love in the world of Turner and the Romantics?
