Riot of the Freelance Mind archiveRiot of the Freelance Mind is a tragi-comic exploration of living and juggling creative lives alongside everyday ?real life' pressures, with the characters stream of consciousness overlapping and intersecting each other. Things like: what does it mean to be a Performer/Actress/Creative/Writer, in today's world? How do we live? Survive between jobs? We look at the tensions of auditioning, interviews, workshopping, at competition, age, esteem, how we find our voice, and on being defined by your past, present or future. All this sprinkled with a bit of the quirky, the honest and the irreverent. An eclectic mix of Meta, Slam, Post Post Modern Verbatim mish-mash.
