What if you got your shot at fame in another man's shoes? Coming off the back of a hit run at the Edinburgh Fringe,
Ringer is a dramatic comedy which sees a heart-throb actor's reputation left in the hands of his idiotic stunt double. Fabian Bevan is a rising star who puts the O Baby into Nepo Baby and has been dubbed the next, next Andrew Scott. After a devastating mix up, he is replaced by his feckless doppelganger stunt man Mike, who gets his shot at Hollywood stardom in his place. With acerbic wit thrown at targets ranging from Paul Mescal to Mark Kermode,
Ringer is the fifth play by comic playwright Hughie Shepherd-Cross, who authored Fringe hits Goons and Out To Lunch, and writes jokes for Radio 4 Extra. Ringer sold out a run at the Kings Head Theatre before a hit run at the Edinburgh Fringe.
